About IQAC

As an institution to be considered exceptional, the terms efficiency, effectiveness, equity, and quality are frequently used interchangeably. Quality is synonymous with the founding of a university, and it is the trademark that distinguishes a university in today’s competitive environment. It is the quality of an educational institution that allows it to stand out in terms of creating ground-breaking research and employable graduates. During the 11th Five-Year Plan period, the University Grants Commission in New Delhi made a policy decision requiring all Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). The Cell’s mission is to provide continuous intervention in order to provide timely guidance and added value to the University/academic College’s and administrative activities. The IQAC was established in April 2014 by the Ramesh Jha Mahila College, Saharsa, a constituent unit of B.N.Mandal University, Madhepura, as an internal quality assurance mechanism to nurture and foster a quality culture for students, scholars, teachers, and ministerial staff in order to ensure continuous improvement in quality parameters. The RJMC has established a strong internal quality assurance system with well-defined structure and processes, as well as the flexibility to meet the needs of a wide range of stakeholders In order to achieve academic excellence, the Cell plans, guides, monitors, reviews, and generates reports relevant to Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities. The IQAC serves as a regulatory body and a guiding force for the University, ensuring that quality standards are on equal footing with those found in India and internationally. Curriculum, teaching, research, training, consistency, governance, extension, placements, energy management, and the environment all use a hierarchical framework to direct and regulate activities and measurements to increase accuracy. The IQAC is unquestionably an RJMC record-keeping entity that provides information to authorities in order to preserve and upgrade strengths, address defects and concerns, and identify opportunities. By establishing intervention approaches to address shortcomings and increase quality, the IQAC can play a facilitative and participative role in this women’s college.
