Ramesh Jha Mahila College, Saharsa organized Seven days online workshop on Digital Literacy held between 15th of July, 2020 to 22nd of July, 2020 in collaboration with NIIT Saharsa Centre. The Main objective of this workshop was to cope up with the difficulties we are facing in teaching learning methodologies during this pandemic situation COVID-19.

The college has always tried to provide the best online education services ever before. After successfully conduction of online “COVID-19 Awareness quiz” in which around 850 people participated and also we awarded top 150 participants with digital certificate. The College has made again the next effort by taking the initiative with the aim of spreading knowledge regarding digital literacy through a seven days online workshop.

In this Workshop along with the trainers of Ramesh Jha Mahila College, Saharsa and NIIT Saharsa Centre, Kr. Amrendra, Assistant Professor, CS & IT Department, Jharkhand Rai University, Ranchi had focused on the topics why is it important to be digitally literate, how to protect yourself online, how to enhance communication and professional skills, how to create digital Content, how to collaborate and mange content digitally, Ethical use of digital resources and many more along with some basic knowledge of Microsoft suite and G-Suite in 21 sessions in visual appealing way.

Based on the Training Sessions, The trainers have duly examined the participants during and after the completion of workshop by taking quiz and giving them assignments to complete. On the last day of Workshop, After having the participant’s performance and participation out of 105 Registered Participants 50 Participants were awarded with Grade A Certificate and 20 Participants were awarded with Grade B Certificate. We also received several feedbacks from the participants.

Overall, The Seven days Online Workshop Digital Literacy was successfully conducted in close co-operation with NIIT Saharsa Centre.
